Creating a New Customer in PawnOS
Objective
This SOP outlines the steps to create a new customer profile in PawnOS, ensuring all necessary information is accurately entered and verified.
Key Steps
Step 1: Access Customer Section
- From your dashboard, select Customer on the left side.
Step 2: Initiate New Customer Creation
- Click on the three-line menu.
- Select New Customers.
Step 3: Enter Customer Information
- Fill in the required fields:
- Name: Enter the customer's name (e.g., Bill O'Reilly).
- Email Address or Phone Number: Enter at least one contact method (e.g., phone number).
Step 4: Additional Customer Details
- Enter the customer's date of birth.
- If applicable, indicate if they are a firearm dealer.
- If the customer is tax exempt, check the appropriate box.
- Enter the following details:
- Eye Color
- Hair Color
- Race
- Height
- Weight
- Birth City (e.g., Albertville, Alabama).
- Enter the customer's address:
- Street Address: 1, 2, 3, 4, Vista View Lane
- City: Boise.
- Enter the type of ID being submitted:
- ID Number
- Expiration Date
- Optionally, take a picture of the ID.
- Once all information is entered, click Save to create the new customer.
Step 10: Verify Customer Contact
- You can delegate verification or verify manually:
- Send a one-time verification via text.
- Alternatively, verify the number yourself.
- After verification, the new customer profile is complete and ready for use.

- Double-check the accuracy of the entered information before saving.
