Pricing Available Inventory

Inventory Pricing Procedure

Objective

This SOP outlines the steps to price inventory items that are either bought or pawn loans that have expired.

Key Steps

 

Step 1: Access Inventory

  • Navigate to the left menu.
  • Click on 'Inventory'.
  • From the drop-down on the right side, select 'Wait for Approval'.

 

Step 2: Select Item to Price

  • Identify the item ready to be priced (e.g., DeWalt grill).
  • Click on the item to pull it up.

 

Step 3: Confirm Pricing

  • Click on the confirmation button.
  • Enter the purchase price (e.g., $20).
  • Enter the selling price (e.g., $65).
  • Click 'Submit'.

 

Step 4: Assign Location (Optional)

  • If applicable, enter the specific location for the item in the store.
  • Click 'Submit'.

 

Step 5: Add Model Information

  • Click on the model field to edit.
  • Enter the model number (e.g., D25203).
  • Click the check mark to confirm.

 

Step 6: Add Make Information

  • Click the pencil icon to edit the make.
  • Enter the make (e.g., DeWalt).
  • Click the check mark to confirm.

 

Step 7: Print Tags

  • Click on the three-line menu in the top right corner.
  • Select 'Print Tags'.
  • Click 'Print'.

 

Step 8: Setup Printer

  • Ensure your tag printer is installed and set up.
  • Select your printer from the options.
  • Click 'Print' to print the tags.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure all prices entered are accurate to avoid discrepancies.
  • Double-check model and make information for correctness before finalizing.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Familiarize yourself with the inventory system to navigate quickly.
  • Keep a list of common prices for items to streamline the pricing process.
  • Regularly check printer setup to avoid delays during tag printing.
